POLICIES

Retention and account closure

Keep evidence deliberately and remove data through a controlled process.

Policy version · 21 September 2026. Read together with the service terms and your applicable written agreement.
01

Current behaviour

The gateway does not automatically delete live payment records. Receipts, claims, payer references and webhook records may remain until the deployment operator applies an agreed retention process. Do not assume that signing out, revoking a key or closing a phone connection erases historical records.

02

Choose an appropriate schedule

Document retention periods for transaction evidence, support records, access logs, backups and test data. Consider reconciliation, dispute handling and applicable legal duties. Apply holds only when justified and review them. There is no single legal retention period that applies to every country and merchant.

03

Request closure

Contact support to request account closure or deletion review. The operator must verify authority, identify connected systems and explain any records that need to be retained. Export necessary business evidence before disabling an integration. Do not send credentials in the request.

04

Sandbox records

Use synthetic data in the simulator. Test accounts have a 1,000-intent limit and the UI shows the latest 50 intents and events. There is no self-service purge or published automatic expiry schedule in this release. Request a reviewed cleanup from the operator if needed.
